We are seeking a motivated Market Development Leader, Emergency Response who plays a key role in the global marketing team in the DuPont-Aramids Thermal Protection Business.  DuPont Aramids’ Thermal Protection business is a global industry leader providing high-performance solutions to protect workers in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Utilities, Emergency Response and Military. The business offers a broad portfolio range of Nomex® flame-resistant personal protective equipment (PPE) solutions that protect workers against flash fire and arc related hazards.

The Global Market Development Leader, Emergency Response is responsible for filling the growth pipeline and driving the critical growth initiatives, consistent with the overall strategy including new offerings, new business models and adjacencies. The role will also lead major growth initiatives across the Thermal Protection platform related to key focus areas, including SMART, as well as support specific execution needs with the segments.   The role will directly report to the Global Marketing Leader (GML), Thermal Protection.

As a Global Market Development Leader, (Emergency Response) you will:

Own the Emergency Response developmental pipeline

Execute market assessments and execution for future growth initiatives. Where needed, drive integrated growth plans for the segment; help support business case needs and financial assessments.   

Identify new growth opportunities within the assigned market segment; lead, build and prioritize new product/ application development programs to address portfolio gaps in newly identified spaces

Lead cross functional teams to execute on delivering new product launches. Work in conjunction with the global team to assess results, financial ROI.

Oversee the Emergency Response vertical globally

Maintain global market pulse

Understand Global trends – feed portfolio needs/align with GML

Oversight of Global Strategies/BM; developed w/GML

Price Strategy Oversight

Support for cross-regional execution

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required; a major/concentration in Marketing, Business, or related field is strongly desirable; a major in Engineering, Chemistry, Material science or closely related field will also be considered

Master's degree or MBA is a plus

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marketing or sales roles required

Knowledge of the Fire Service space is desired

Self-starter with a strategic view and hands-on approach

Strong communication skills to effectively, clearly, and concisely convey ideas, concepts, and growth opportunities to all levels and functions in written, verbal, and presentation format.

Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and innovative environment

Experience in marketing and business data analytics, develop insights and actionable recommendations

Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams with strong execution and decision-making skills; prior experience in working in and/or leading cross-functional teams is highly desirable

Strong Excellent written and spoken English skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong analytical and critical thinking with the ability to make data-driven decisions and actionable recommendations
