Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a €30 Billion international wholesaler with operations in 30 countries through 632 stores & a team of 85,000 people globally. Metro operates in a further 10 countries with its Food Service Distribution (FSD) business and it is thus active in a total of 34 countries.

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide HR, Finance, IT & Business operations support to 30 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. We are setting tomorrow’s standards for customer focus, digital solutions, and sustainable business models. For over 10 years, we have been providing services and solutions from our two locations in Pune and Szczecin. This has allowed us to gain extensive experience in how we can best serve our internal customers with high quality and passion. • Manage the end-to-end employee life cycle (Hire to Retire) in alignment with local and regional HR policies and procedures
• Handle a variety of HR operational processes with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with regional guidelines
• Demonstrate solid understanding and execution of HR processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Respond to and resolve employee and manager inquiries using a case management tool, ensuring high-quality service and issue resolution
• Prepare and deliver standard HR correspondence for both internal stakeholders and external parties
• Collaborate with employees, line managers, and HR business partners to support HR operations across the EU region
• Work closely with the wider HR community, including Centers of Excellence (COEs), to ensure cohesive and consistent service delivery
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within HR Shared Services
• Support the HR Shared Services team on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required

 

Here are the desired Skills and Experience…

 

• Experience, preferably in a HR Shared Services function supporting European Union
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience and knowledge on HRMS Platforms like SAP and/or Oracle Fusion
• Good IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, Outlook

• Fluent English - excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong administrative ability, managing a complex and varied workload.
• Previous experience in a front facing customer service role and/or project experience is desirable
• Should be flexible to work in multiple shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills, can build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Confident, diplomatic, and tactful

Graduate or Postgraduate with 3 - 5 years of experience in HR shared services or similar environment
