The Global Cash Management Sales (GCMS) Specialist will be responsible for managing, developing, and expanding global cash management relationships within an assigned portfolio of CIB Global Clients. This role is focused on driving revenue growth through strategic cross-selling of global and domestic cash management solutions, while working closely with Global Client Coverage teams, transactional bankers, local Cash Management units, and technical and innovation teams.

• Assist the Global Sales Regional Manager in defining the business strategy and commercial plan for the promotion of global cash management products.
• Originate proactively global cash management commercial opportunities jointly with the Global Clients, Transaction and BEC bankers.
• Attend meetings with clients recurrently together with Global Clients, Transaction and BEC bankers. Support bankers in the presenting to the clients the BBVA global cash management product.
• Receive and manage Request for Proposals (RFP).
• Set up transaction product prices. Reviewthose prices with the GTB Pricing Specialist to check if prices are within the margins laid down.
• Generate recurrent income.
• Review legal documentation of agreements and contracts in collaboration with Legal CIB.
• Record the commercial opportunity in the Pipeline application updating its status along the life of the operation.
• Coordinate with the local CM teams the strategic alignment between the global and local cash management commercial strategy, promoting a global approach in the local client management.
• Transfer client needs and requirements.
• Know the catalogue of global and local transaction banking products in-depth.
• Measure, monitor and analyse through management tools all products and services income generated per customer and geography.
• Attend and participate in the organization of specialized forums and meetings. Set up a BBVA stand in coordination with Marketing & Advertising CIB, participating in conferences and round tables, hiring reputed speakers, etc.
• Report to the Global Sales Regional Manager on a periodic and ad-hoc basis.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in international cash management sales, product management, or digital banking platforms.
• Proven track record of managing senior-level client relationships and generating revenue growth.
• Strong knowledge of cash management products and practices; international experience is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of international payment systems, XML standards, and connectivity channels such as SWIFT, Host-to-Host, APIs, and electronic banking platforms.
• Experience in the implementation of cash pooling and liquidity management solutions is a plus.
• Strong project management and execution capabilities.
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs).
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 60%).
