We produce lightweight foams for a wide range of markets including sports and leisure, aviation, automotive, and healthcare. Zotefoams also owns and licenses patented technology and supplies advanced insulation systems.

About the Role:

The General Manager, Spain has full leadership and operational accountability for Zotefoams’ manufacturing operations across Anglesola and Burgos. Reporting to the Managing Director NA & EMEA and the Global Supply Chain Director, this role owns end to end performance across safety, operations, people and financial delivery for both sites.

You will lead site strategies aligned to EMEA and global objectives, building a strong culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement and engagement. This is a senior, hands on leadership role with real influence over performance, capability and long term growth across Spain.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead and embed a culture of zero harm and full regulatory compliance across both sites
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and legal requirements
Develop and execute site strategies aligned with EMEA and global business goals
Translate global priorities into clear local plans, actions and outcomes
Own full P&L accountability for Anglesola and Burgos including safety, quality, cost, delivery and productivity
Drive consistent application of operating standards, systems and best practices
Oversee production planning, scheduling and resource allocation aligned to global S&OP
Ensure strong asset reliability through effective maintenance and engineering strategies
Partner with Quality teams to maintain audit readiness and continuous improvement
Lead Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives across both sites
Drive automation, digitisation and modern manufacturing improvements
Identify and deliver cost reduction and efficiency initiatives without compromising safety or quality
Lead, coach and develop site leadership teams and wider workforces
Build strong succession plans and talent pipelines
Foster a high performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and engagement
Work closely with EMEA and global teams across Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Finance and Commercial
Support new product introductions, technology transfers and capital projects
Own site operating budgets including labour, overheads, materials efficiency and capex
Deliver accurate reporting of performance, risks and forecasts

What you'll need:

Significant senior leadership experience within manufacturing or operations
Proven track record delivering operational excellence in a regulated or industrial environment
Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Solid financial and commercial acumen with P&L responsibility
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working within international or matrix organisations preferred
Degree in Engineering, Operations or a related discipline advantageous
