What is this position about?

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a team supporting a large-scale Marketing Operations ecosystem. This is a backend-leaning role, currently focused primarily on designing and building backend systems that power marketing offers, audience targeting, and campaign enablement.

While the main day-to-day work is backend, this position is considered fullstack due to the need to collaborate closely across the product ecosystem. The frontend is primarily handled by another team, and frontend exposure (e.g., React) is a plus rather than a requirement.

This position requires a highly autonomous engineer who can navigate ambiguity, gather requirements across multiple stakeholders, and translate evolving business logic into scalable technical solutions.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Golang (primary focus).
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems that support marketing platforms and audience segmentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.

• Work within a Kubernetes-based architecture and contribute to service orchestration best practices.

• Support and contribute to a cloud infrastructure evolution (AWS to GCP).

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.

• Document architecture decisions and technical designs.

• Participate in code reviews and help raise engineering quality standards.

• Collaborate with frontend teams when needed to ensure smooth integration between backend capabilities and UI requirements.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong backend ownership.

• Strong hands-on experience with Golang.

• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Experience working in Kubernetes environments.

• Solid cloud experience (AWS required; GCP is a strong plus).

• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.

• Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and excellent communication for cross-team collaboration.

• Comfortable working in dynamic, evolving environments; proactive in gathering missing information.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React.

• Experience in marketing technology or data-driven products.

• Experience supporting large-scale consumer platforms.

• Hands-on exposure to GCP.

Advanced English proficiency is required for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.

How much experience must I have?

We are looking for candidates with 4+ years of experience in backend engineering, software engineering, or related roles, with demonstrated experience delivering production-grade systems.
