Join Surein.de as a Founding Tech Lead to build an AI-native backend platform that processes high-volume unstructured data and automates complex workflows. You'll own critical systems, drive core architectural decisions, and integrate machine intelligence across the platform. This hands-on role provides a path to engineering leadership while shaping the technical direction and culture of a Sequoia Arc alumni company.

What you will do:
Design and build high-performance backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Develop distributed, event-driven, AI-enabled components including LLM integrations and model orchestration.
Establish strong infrastructure foundations using AWS, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices.
The ideal candidate:
Experienced in building scalable backend systems with Node.js/TypeScript and distributed architectures.
Deep expertise with AWS, Terraform, automation, monitoring, and reliability engineering.
Exhibits founder-like traits: builder mentality, bias for action, strong communication, and systems thinking.
