Requirements
• 5+ years experience as Backend / Systems / Platform Engineer
• Must been a founding engineer previously or seen 0-1 single journey
• Strong experience building and scaling distributed systems in production
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
• Strong knowledge of streaming and messaging systems like Kafka
• Experience building Big Data pipelines using Spark or similar tools
• Experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and performance tuning
Responsibilities
• Design and build scalable, distributed backend systems and data pipelines
• Own platform architecture across compute, storage, streaming, and orchestration
• Develop cloud-native services using Kubernetes and microservices patterns
• Build and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines
• Improve reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers
• Own services end-to-end from design to production stability
