We are currently seeking a Senior Developer to join the Fixed Income Derivatives Technology group.
This team partners closely with Interest Rates Sales & Trading and Quantitative Strategists to develop next-generation risk and trading systems that support strategic business objectives.
The successful candidate will work on one of the world’s largest Scala projects, gaining exposure to all aspects of Interest Rate Derivative trading.
The role balances strategic system renovations with daily business coverage, tailored to individual strengths and preferences.

Responsibilities:
• Develop large-scale distributed systems for intra-day and end-of-day risk, PnL (Profit and Loss), and market scenario reporting to senior management, trading desks, controllers, and risk departments.
• Redesign pricing and workflow applications for salespeople and traders to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Lead or contribute to the rearchitecture of Front-to-Back risk scenario infrastructure in alignment with the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB).
• Greenfield development of a new market data and marking system within a strategic cross-asset platform.
• Design APIs to make pricing and risk analytics accessible programmatically to other internal systems and processes.
• Provide IT coverage for Macro business in EMEA, collaborating daily with Sales/Trading, Desk Strategies, COOs, Operations, Controllers, and Market Risk.
• Contribute to global initiatives by acting as a technology provider to Interest Rate trading desks worldwide.

Requirements:
• Strong academic record with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related computational field.
• Strong software engineering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated interest in learning about financial markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.

• Knowledge of fixed income markets, financial models, and risk management.
• Experience with risk calculation systems, trading tools, or financial infrastructure development.
• Familiarity with distributed computing, cloud platforms, and Java/Scala performance tuning.
• Understanding of DevOps and Continuous Development principles.
