Overview

We are looking for a Financial & Business Intelligence Analyst to help us operate smarter as we scale. n this role, you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll coordination while building dashboards and insights that support better decision-making. You will work closely with the CEO, managers, bookkeeper, and CPA to ensure strong financial operations and data-driven growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining finance, analytics, and automation to improve how a company operates.

Responsibilities

Financial Management

Maintain accurate financial records with our bookkeeper

Prepare key financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning

Track expenses, loans, licenses, and payroll changes

Ensure accurate contractor payroll processing

Coordinate with our CPA for tax filings and compliance

Calculate bonuses and commissions

Business Intelligence & Strategy

Define and track key company KPIs

Build dashboards and reports to monitor company performance

Analyze financial and operational data to support leadership decisions

Monitor accounts receivable and collection timelines

Track project profitability and margins

Improve resource planning through data analysis

Automation & Process Improvements

Implement automations using AI tools, APIs, and no-code platforms

Build internal reporting tools to reduce manual work

Create ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions

Key KPIs

Capitalization rate for design and development teams

Accounts receivable collection rate

Project profitability margins

Accuracy of financial forecasts

Operational efficiency improvements through automation

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Economics, or a related field

5+ years of experience in finance, financial operations, or business intelligence

Experience supporting small or mid-sized companies, ideally in tech or agency environments

Experience with financial reporting, payroll coordination, and budgeting

Skills

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Experience building BI dashboards and data reports

Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, APIs, or similar platforms

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication in Spanish and English

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

Experience with financial software and CRM platforms (Zoho CRM is a plus)
