The role

Finance Operations is a critical role that will transform how we manage our money as we scale. You'll take ownership of both the vendor and customer sides of our finance operations, leveraging automation and building scalable processes fit for ambitious growth.

Key ownership areas:

• Own vendor and customer finance flows: manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, vendor management, and collections

• Process design and automation: Drive efficiency by identifying operational bottlenecks and building automated workflows (using tools like Chargebee, Ramp, and others) that reduce manual work and create sustainable processes as we scale

• Strategic vendor and tool decisions: evaluate and recommend financial platforms, payment solutions, and tools that keep us efficient

• Revenue accuracy and controls: ensure we have proper financial processes in place with a deep understanding of revenue recognition principles

What you bring

• Accounting foundation: Solid knowledge of financial statements, bookkeeping, and core accounting principles with 2+ years practical experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A roles—ideally in a high-growth SaaS or tech startup

• Commercial mindset: You view finance operations as a driver of business impact, using accounting principles to enable operational excellence

• Process builder and automation champion: You identify inefficiencies, build scalable solutions through modern financial tools (Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Ramp), and love making tools work harder than people do

• Generalist operator: You're comfortable managing both vendor (A/P) and customer (A/R) finance functions, wearing multiple hats across the finance operations landscape

• Ownership and diligence: You spot risks, flag issues, and don't drop the ball—even when context switching between payroll, vendor bills, and customer invoices
