ROLE TITLE: Finance Admin Officer
REPORTING LINE: The Finance Admin Officer will report directly to the Transactional Finance Manager.
DEPARTMENTAL OVERVIEW:
The Finance Department is responsible for the overall control and management of all financial aspects of the Company and its strategic objectives using ERP, maximising cost control and operational efficiencies within the Company’s risk profile, providing strategic and financial management and reporting, to ensure that the Company is able to meet its financial targets and projected commitments, with particular emphasis on the SiPF Programme and grants receivable.
THE ROLE:
The Finance Admin Officer will be a point of contact for Accounts Payable function as well as other Finance tasks. They will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the departmental goals are achieved. This includes accurate and timely transactional finance and internal reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provide support to the Accounts Payable Lead and wider Finance Team.
Maintain accurate accounts payable records within the company ERP system (Microsoft Business Central).
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Complete bank reconciliations in line with monthly reporting timelines.
Perform credit card reconciliations and ensure supporting documentation is accurate.
Assist in preparing and processing supplier payments.
Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment issues.
Use the automated AP system to process invoices across multiple companies.
Raise confidential purchase orders and monitor data trends where required.
Carry out ad hoc duties to support the Finance Team.
Attend team meetings and 1 1 sessions, completing reporting requirements as requested by ATL.
Ensure full compliance with ATL policies, procedures, and financial controls.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across ATL.
Contribute to fostering a culture aligned with ATL’s Values and Guiding Principles.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
Provide support to management and internal teams on financial queries.
Prepare and supply data for audits and compliance checks.
Assist in the preparation of government grant submissions
KNOWLEDGE AND SPECIALIST SKILLS:
Required Education/Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 1-year Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in ERP (Microsoft Business Central preferable).
Experience in Automated AP (Continia preferable).
Desirable Experience:
Commencement of IATI or equivalent.
Key Skills Required:
Strong Excel skills.
Ability to work at a high level of accuracy.
Ability to multi-task and be well organized.
Communication skills:
Good report writing skills – clear, concise, and well structured.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Teamworking:
Ability to relate well to others, and build co-operative and collaborative working relationships, both internally and externally.

Ability to coordinate with other departments and externally relating to flag issues.
A focus on ‘delivery’ to an agreed schedule.
