Location: France (Paris preferred)
Compensation: €138,000 – €167,000 OTE

We’re looking to hire a Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise to join our Field Engineering team - and lead the charge in France.

This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role. You’ll be the face of dbt Labs for some of our most strategic French and European customers. You’ll run technical discovery, deliver high-impact demos, and guide prospects from first interest to successful adoption.

We’re looking for someone who blends technical depth with presence and polish - someone who can command a (virtual or in-person) room, lead brilliant product demos, and drive enterprise decisions with confidence and clarity.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Become an expert in designing enterprise-grade data pipelines with dbt Platform

• Own the full technical sales lifecycle for prospects and customers in France

• Deliver excellent demos that inspire confidence and show real-world value

• Build champions within enterprise data teams, helping them adopt and scale dbt

• Contribute to dbt’s voice in the French data ecosystem: speaking at industry events, webinars, and meetups

• Build close relationships with our Partners (including companies like Snowflake, Google, and Databricks) and enable them to adopt and implement dbt Platform for their clients

• Work with Product to build and maintain the dbt Platform enterprise roadmap

• Be a cultural cornerstone in our EMEA Field Engineering team: sharing ideas, giving feedback, raising the bar

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• Team-first mentality: you care as much about lifting up your peers as you do about your own success

• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Data Consulting with enterprise clients

• Strong SQL fluency and a solid foundation in data modeling, pipelines, and cloud data architectures

• Experience with dbt, or a strong understanding of the modern data stack

• Experience delivering high-quality demos - and a passion for storytelling through product

• Public speaking or external-facing experience: you’re comfortable presenting to executives and roomfuls of practitioners

• Proactive ownership of the technical sale: you don’t wait to be told - you drive the process forward

• Growth mindset and ambition: you want to take this role and run with it
