Engineering Team Lead - Network Platform

About The Team

Connecting exchanges, OTC desks, custodians, and wallets, the Fireblocks Network settles trillions in crypto trading volume, and delivers a seamless trading experience by reducing friction, unlocking capital efficiency and mitigating counterparty risk.

The Network Platform team is responsible for developing and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure components used by Network applications across Fireblocks.

As a Network platform team leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure of Fireblocks network with defining architecture, patterns and processes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and Mentor: Manage a team of talented developers, setting technical direction and providing mentorship to foster professional growth and inspire innovative solutions.

• Infrastructure development: lead the development of components and building blocks that support scale, performance and variety of Network use cases

• Platform orientation: Understand the broad range of requirements and work closely with several product teams to build team’s roadmap

• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with cross-functional teams, leading workshops and presentations to share insights and innovations within the organization.

• Production mindset: Maintaining highest level of availability of Network platform components

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience leading engineering teams, preferably on high-scale products.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.

• Deep expertise in designing for scale, performance, and resiliency within distributed systems.

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in backend or full-stack development.

• Proven ability to drive technical strategy, manage complex roadmaps, and mentor senior engineers.

• Proficiency in Typescript and/or C++ is a significant advantage.
