Engineering Manager | Mid-Senior

We are building a world-class, AI-driven B2B analytics SaaS. Built from scratch as a core product, it defines a new generation of marketing analytics within Tesonet Group.

You’ll join while core architecture, data flows, and engineering principles are actively being designed, with the opportunity to take real ownership and shape how the product is built and how teams collaborate.

The platform is built around intelligent automation, real-time data processing, ML modeling, and large-scale distributed systems, with AI deeply embedded at its core. By working with complex data, we deliver a powerful self-service analytics experience that enables faster, smarter marketing decisions.

You will lead a Data Collection engineering team responsible for large-scale data ingestion across multiple sources — from web scraping and internal providers to ML-powered pipelines and highly configurable collection strategies. The team builds and operates mission-critical infrastructure that runs 24/7 and feeds core analytics systems.

Main Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a Data Collection engineering team (5–6 engineers) responsible for large-scale data ingestion systems.
• Own the end-to-end delivery and reliability of pipelines across multiple sources, including web scraping, internal providers, ML workflows, and databases.
• Partner with senior engineers to make architectural and technical decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Ensure 24/7 availability, monitoring, and operational excellence for mission-critical data infrastructure.
• Drive execution, process improvements, and delivery predictability in a high-scale environment.
• Grow, mentor, and performance-manage the team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Infrastructure, and Engineering leadership to align technical execution with business and product goals.

Core Requirements:
• Proven experience leading software engineering teams (3+ years) and delivering results in high-scale environments.
• Strong technical background in backend engineering, distributed systems, and familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of developer experience (DevEx), product delivery, and professional software engineering practices (SDLC, code reviews, testing, CI/CD).
• Track record of planning, prioritizing, and overseeing execution to meet commitments predictably.
• Ability to mentor and grow teams, foster ownership, resolve conflicts, and build high-performing, self-organized groups.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Lithuanian and English languages, with the ability to manage stakeholders, align priorities, and convey technical vision.
• Experience in leading remote engineering teams is a plus.

Salary:
• Monthly gross salary is 6700 - 8100 eur/month
• We are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills, experience, and potential impact.
• This position is eligible for a stock option plan which will be discussed during the final steps of the process.
