Job Description
Are you passionate about building meaningful conversations between a world-leading sports brand and its community?
We are looking for a structured, technically and curious Email Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Team. In this role, you will manage the flow of communication from the company to our subscribers and beyond.
About the role
As part of the Marketing Team, you will act as a central communication distribution channel for the entire organization. Your role is to ensure that when we need to communicate with the world we can make that happen consistently.
You will be responsible for the production quality and execution of our email campaigns. This requires a balance of technical skill (working within email systems like MailChimp, CRM and automation tools) and project coordination (managing timelines and stakeholders). We value proactivity, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in ensuring that every message sent is put together, visually sound, and strategically timed and strikes a chord with our community.
This is a role for a team player who enjoys the "how" of marketing how systems connect, how data is organized, and how a campaign comes together technically, blended with great story telling and visual appeal.
What you´ll do
• Campaign Production & Craftsmanship:
• Execution: Transforming briefs and assets into finalized emails. You will handle the technical setup, audience segmentation, and final deployment.
• Quality Assurance: You are the final checkpoint. You test links, rendering (mobile/desktop), and formatting to ensure a high-quality user experience every time.
2. Coordination & Stakeholder Support:
• Collaborative Planning: You will manage the global email schedule, ensuring that requests from different departments are prioritized logically to avoid overwhelming our audience.
• Internal Support: Acting as a helpful advisor to internal teams, guiding them on what is possible within our systems and ensuring they provide the necessary assets on time.
3. Systems, Data & Growth:
• Database Management: maintaining the health of our contact database. You will handle list segmentation and ensure data flows correctly between our platforms.
• Automation: Building and monitoring automated workflows (such as welcome flows or event triggers) to keep our communication relevant and timely.
• Proactive Learning: We encourage you to explore our tools. We value someone who asks, "Is there a better way to do this?" and looks for small improvements in our daily workflows.
