Job Description
Director of Church Partnerships
The Park — Catharpin, Virginia
Hybrid · Full-Time · Base Salary + Performance Bonuses
The Mission Behind the Role
The Park is a team of ministry leaders, educators, creatives, and volunteers who’ve seen firsthand the need for a curriculum that’s both grounded in Scripture and relevant to today’s kids. Drawing from years of experience in church leadership and children’s ministry, we bring passion, research, creativity, and theological integrity to everything we produce. Born from a deep desire to teach the Bible with clarity and intention, The Park developed a Sunday school curriculum that does more than entertain—it engages, inspires, and helps plant lasting spiritual truths.
We're looking for a Director of Church Partnerships to lead the growth of The Park's church subscription base nationwide. This is a unique role at the intersection of strategic sales leadership and Kingdom impact — you'll build the partnerships and systems that put excellent curriculum into the hands of children's ministry leaders at churches across the country.
This role is ideal for someone who has closed deals, managed a sales pipeline and who believes that equipping children's ministry volunteers is one of the most important things the Church can do.
What You'll Do
Build and lead The Park's church partnership strategy. Own the full sales cycle — from identifying prospective church partners to conducting curriculum demos, navigating church purchasing decisions, and ensuring successful onboarding. Develop and execute an annual growth plan with clear subscription targets across church sizes and budgets.
Develop deep, trust-based relationships with children's ministry leaders. Serve as a trusted advisor to children's pastors, ministry directors, and church administrators, using a consultative approach to understand each church's unique context, volunteer capacity, and discipleship goals.
Represent The Park at conferences, denominational meetings, and ministry events. Attend regional children's ministry conferences, and pastor gatherings to build awareness, generate leads, and strengthen The Park's presence in the children's ministry ecosystem (limited travel is required).
Manage leads, data, and reporting with precision. Maintain a well-organized CRM with accurate pipeline data, activity tracking, and revenue forecasting. Deliver regular reporting to leadership on subscription growth, retention rates, churn analysis, and partnership health metrics.
Shape the voice of The Park's outreach. Collaborate with the product team to create marketing newsletter, mail campaigns, and content that speaks directly to children's ministry pain points. Provide frontline intelligence on what churches need, what competitors offer, and how The Park's messaging can sharpen.
Lay the foundation for strategic partnerships and well defined sales playbooks.
Professional Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or church/ministry partnerships, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Direct church market experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Ministry Leadership, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle — prospecting, demo, negotiation, close, and onboarding — particularly for subscription or recurring-revenue products.
Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and comfort with data-driven pipeline management.
Excellent communication skills — you can present to a room of 200 pastors at a conference and follow up with a personalized email that same evening.
Familiarity with the children's ministry landscape, including major curriculum providers, conference circuits, denominational structures, and church purchasing cycles.
Ministry Qualifications
An active, Christ-centered faith and regular involvement in a local church. This is a ministry-first organization — we need leaders whose professional excellence flows from spiritual conviction.
A genuine heart for the local church and for the people who serve in children's ministry. You understand that children's ministry directors are often the most under-resourced leaders in the building — and you want to change that.
Theological alignment with Park Valley Church statement of faith
Experience in children's ministry, youth ministry, or as a church volunteer is a meaningful plus.

On-Target Earnings: base +commission in Year 1, scaling with portfolio growth
