Objective
Strengthen critical capabilities in Patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation, increasing response capacity, automation, and operational control over endpoint security.
Mission
Ensure effective, automated, and sustainable remediation of vulnerabilities in Windows systems, guaranteeing that fixes are permanent and that automated mechanisms are in place to prevent recurrence.
Scope
• Patch management of Windows endpoints
• Vulnerability monitoring in Linux (Rocky 8) and macOS
• Coordination with vendors and other teams responsible for Linux and macOS
• Use of Tenable as an end-user tool
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Windows patching using Azure/Intune and SCCM
• Handle operating system and application vulnerabilities
• Develop custom remediation solutions
• Create automated correction and prevention mechanisms
• Use PsExec for specific interventions
• Perform testing and validation in lab environments (virtual machines)
• Analyze vulnerabilities using Tenable
• Track and close vulnerabilities with vendors
• Produce evidence and reporting for audit and compliance purposes
Core Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Experience with large-scale patch management
• Advanced troubleshooting capabilities
• Strong experience with Azure/Intune and SCCM
• Operational use of Tenable
• Automation and scripting expertise
• High proficiency in PowerShell
• Development of remediation scripts
• Automation of recurring fixes
• Creation of self-healing solutions
• Development of internal tools to optimize daily operations
