Playtech Sports is looking for a resilient DevOps Engineer with excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills.  

Your influential mission. You will... 

• Design, build, and maintain automated Git-based deployment pipelines for smooth and reliable software releases. 
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters across our environment using Rancher. 
• Optimize network performance and security by managing our Cloudflare configurations, including web application firewalls and routing rules. 
• Monitor system health, application performance, and database stability using tools like Grafana and Prometheus. 
• Act as a technical escalation point to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, resolve downtime incidents, and draft post-mortem reports. 

Components for success. You... 

• Hold a BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Bring 3+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles. 
• Communicate comfortably in English at an intermediate level. 
• Are proficient in configuring and managing Cloudflare (WAF, DNS, caching). 
• Have extensive experience with Git deployments, including setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines via GitLab. 
• Possess deep knowledge of container orchestration using Rancher and Kubernetes. 
• Take proactive ownership of complex infrastructure challenges and apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. 
• Remain calm, resilient, and focused under pressure, especially during incidents. 
• Manage your time effectively, prioritize critical alerts over routine tasks, and maintain clear, consistent documentation.

• Bringing a solid background in Linux administration and infrastructure as code practices. 
• Demonstrating strong scripting skills with Python, Node.js, or Bash.
