Data & Business Research Analyst – with Statistical and Technical Expertise

We are looking for a Data & Business Research Analyst with strong technical skills to join our central Analytics & Automation team at SanDisk. This role blends analytical thinking, business acumen, and technical capabilities to uncover patterns, design workflows, and drive data-driven decision-making across departments.

The ideal candidate understands both data and business operations — someone who can analyze how teams work, identify optimization opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes across Sales, Customer Operations, and other departments to identify gaps and optimize workflows.

• Perform deep-dive data analysis to detect patterns, anomalies, and trends supporting strategic decisions.

• Design and document end-to-end workflows connecting data, systems, and business processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate challenges into measurable data insights.

• Develop and maintain SQL queries and dashboards for extracting, visualizing, and monitoring key metrics.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

• Partner with the Automation team to transform analytical findings into scalable solutions.

• 3+ years of experience in business/data analysis or process research.

• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets — must.

• Strong business orientation and ability to connect data insights to operational improvements.

• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, or similar) — advantage.

• Understanding of workflow design and automation concepts — advantage.

• Experience working with Sales or Customer Operations teams – advantage.

Experience in eCommerce or GCS (Global Customer Support/Operations) environments – advantage.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience collaborating with multiple business units (Sales, Customer Ops, Finance, etc.).

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and curious to explore business data patterns.
