• Own and evolve the R&D Business Intelligence platform from an architectural and product perspective
• Translate business requirements from R&D and Finance into scalable data solutions
• Manage the BI platform backlog and guide an agile development team
• Design and govern enterprise-grade data models, data warehouses, and automated pipelines
• Ensure a secure, scalable, and future-ready data architecture
• Oversee integration with internal/external systems and ensure data quality and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to ensure high delivery standards
• Establish best practices in data governance, documentation, and operational support 

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar
• 7+ years' experience as Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer with platform responsibility
• Strong expertise in data modeling, warehousing, ETL/ELT and automation
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with tools such as Power BI, KNIME, Talend, UiPath or Alteryx
• Experience working in agile environments (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Product mindset with experience in backlog ownership and stakeholder alignment
• Python/R and ML knowledge is a plus
• Strong communication skills and fluency in German and English.
