Cyber Tools / Tanium Integration Specialist

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (On‑Site, Full Time)
Clearance Required: Secret
DoD 8570 Requirement: IAT Level II
Salary Range: $130,000–$150,000
Travel: ~10% within the U.S.

Job Summary

The Cyber Tools Tanium Integration Specialist is responsible for integrating, configuring, and maintaining key cybersecurity tools within a complex enterprise environment. This role will lead the end‑to‑end implementation, optimization, and integration of Tanium as part of a major modernization effort, replacing the existing BigFix server and ensuring seamless compatibility across the C2BMC system.

The specialist will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to assess requirements, design scalable architectures, deploy Tanium across thousands of endpoints, ensure high availability and performance, and establish best practices for ongoing operations and use‑case development. Additional responsibilities include installing and testing other cyber tools, applying STIGs, supporting CTO compliance, and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration, configuration, and automation of Tanium within the existing C2BMC cyber tool ecosystem

• Replace the current BigFix Server with Tanium and verify all contractual requirements are met

• Document installation procedures and deliver deployment instructions for enterprise rollout

• Install, deploy, and unit test additional Cyber Tools (ACAS, ArcSight, Delinea, ESS, Axway Repeater, Responder for Windows MFA) across NT labs, C2BMC Testbed (O13), and operational environments

• Develop and validate installation instructions for Cyber Tools and vendor patches

• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

• Manage and respond to Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs) related to Cyber Tools

• Collaborate with ISSOs to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations

• Work with C2BMC teams to ensure tool compatibility and seamless system integration

• Document and verify all installation and configuration steps for lab and operational deliveries

• Provide feedback to Cyber Leadership to improve tools, processes, and integration workflows

Required Experience

• Extensive hands‑on experience designing, architecting, integrating, and deploying the Tanium platform, including:

• TanOS, modules, sensors

• Endpoint management

• Patch deployment

• Threat response

• Asset management

• Custom integrations with security/IT operations tools

• 3+ years of enterprise‑level Tanium administration

• Proven experience integrating and maintaining Cyber Tools such as:

• Elastic Stack

• ACAS

• ArcSight

• BigFix

• Delinea

• ESS

• Axway Repeater

• Responder for Windows MFA

• ICAP

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements

• Experience working in air‑gapped or classified environments

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Proactive troubleshooting and problem‑solving approach

• Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) preferred

• Master’s degree + 7+ years of experience
