Corporate Operations Coordinator (3PL / Transportation) – Kitchener, ON.

Employment Type: Full-Time | Experience Level: Mid-Level

Compensation: $48,000–$58,000 per year + Performance Bonus

 

Job Summary

Rome Logistics is hiring a Corporate Operations Coordinator to play a key role in keeping freight moving smoothly across North America. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in transportation, dispatch, or 3PL logistics, or individuals looking to start a long-term career in the supply chain industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage freight shipments across Canada and the United States

Obtain carrier quotes, compare rates, and support pricing decisions

Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams

Communicate with carriers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery

Resolve shipment issues, delays, and service challenges

Accurately enter and update shipment data in TMS/CRM systems

Work closely with sales and customer service teams

 

Requirements

1+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain preferred

Post-secondary education in supply chain, business, or related field is an asset

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

Experience with TMS or CRM systems is an asset

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
