Position Overview
BUILD IT is seeking a top-performing sales professional to drive new business growth across the GTA.
This is not a typical sales role — it is an opportunity to build a significant book of business in commercial construction while working alongside an experienced leadership team, a respected brand, and proven project delivery capabilities.
You will own the full sales cycle, from proactive prospecting and relationship development through proposals, negotiation, and closing.

What Success Looks Like
In this role, you will be accountable for:
Building and converting a $15M–$30M annual opportunity pipeline through strategic outreach, relationship development, and proactive follow-through
Driving new business opportunities across the GTA
Owning the full sales cycle from first outreach to signed deal
Building long-term client relationships that translate into recurring revenue growth
Directly influencing BUILD IT’s strategic expansion across key sectors
What You’ll Do
Pursue new business opportunities daily
Cold call, email, network, and proactively build pipeline
Meet owners, developers, architects, franchise groups, and decision-makers
Lead proposals, presentations, and deal strategy
Close profitable project opportunities
Partner with leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives
Maintain strong CRM discipline and pipeline forecasting
Build long-term partnerships across high-value client accounts
What You Bring
5+ years of success in sales or business development
Proven track record in outbound prospecting and new business generation
Strong closing ability with measurable revenue results
Competitive, resilient, and highly driven mindset
Ability to build trust and convert relationships into revenue opportunities
Experience in construction, architecture, design, or commercial services is considered an asset
Existing GTA network in commercial real estate, development, or related B2B sectors is a strong asset

Compensation
Annual base salary of $70,000–$100,000 plus a performance-based commission structure
