Le comptable de portefeuille participe au bon déroulement des opérations et veille à l’intégrité et à l’exactitude des données enregistrées dans le système de comptabilité de portefeuille. Il assume également diverses fonctions quotidiennes de contrôle, de suivi et production de rapports. Il est le point de contact avec les divers gardiens de valeurs localisés à Montréal, Toronto et aux États-Unis.

Responsabilités :

Concilier nos données (transactions et actifs) avec celles des gardiens de valeurs;

Investiguer et corriger les différences identifiées;

Mettre à jour le système de comptabilité de portefeuille;

Vérifier les sommaires d’impôts émis par les gardiens de valeurs;

Répondre aux requêtes des clients;

Faire le suivi et la vérification des requêtes internes et externes;

Participer à l’amélioration continue des processus opérationnels.

Les exigences et compétences requises : 

Diplôme universitaire de premier cycle en comptabilité;

Zéro (0) à deux (2) années d’expérience;

Expérience dans le secteur financier ou en cabinet comptable (un atout);

Détenteur du titre CPA (un atout);

Cours sur le Commerce des valeurs mobilières au Canada (CCVM) (un atout);

Sens critique allié à d’excellentes capacités d’observation, d’analyse et de synthèse;

Facilité à travailler avec les chiffres ;

Facilité avec les systèmes informatiques;

Rigueur, souci de l’excellence et minutie ;

Autonomie, initiative et haut sens des responsabilités;

Discrétion et respect de la confidentialité;

Intégrité et éthique professionnelle irréprochable;

Très bonne maîtrise de la suite Office, particulièrement Excel ;

Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

Le titulaire sera le point de contact avec les divers gardiens de valeurs localisés à Montréal, Toronto et aux États-Unis.

The portfolio accountant contributes to the smooth running of operations and ensures the integrity and accuracy of data recorded in the portfolio accounting system. He or she also performs various daily control, monitoring, and reporting functions. The portfolio accountant is the point of contact with the various custodians located in Montreal, Toronto, and the United States.

Main responsibilities: 

Reconcile our data (transactions and assets) with that of custodians;

Investigate and correct any differences identified;

Update the portfolio accounting system;

Verify tax summaries issued by custodians;

Respond to client requests;

Follow up and verify internal and external requests;

Participate in the continuous improvement of operational processes.

Requirements and skills needed:

Bachelor's degree in accounting;

Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience;

Experience in the financial sector or in an accounting firm (an asset);

CPA designation, (an asset);

Canadian Securities Course (CSC) (an asset);

Critical thinking skills combined with excellent observation, analysis, and synthesis abilities;

Comfortable working with numbers;

Comfortable with computer systems;

Rigorous, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence;

Independent, proactive, and highly responsible;

Discreet and respectful of confidentiality;

Integrity and impeccable professional ethics.

Very good command of the Office suite, particularly Excel;

Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.

The incumbent will be the point of contact with the various security guards located in Montreal, Toronto, and the United States.
