The opportunity
We need a self-driven and motivated Commercial Manager with a true "hunter mentality" to fuel the continued already incredible growth of our Health & Safety events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of selling exhibition, sponsorship and digital media packages for the Workplace Health & Safety Show— Australia's largest annual events attracting 15,000 industry buyers from the largest organisations in the country, with over $1Bn of collective budget to procure the latest products and services to keep their biggest assets safe - their people!
Key responsibilities
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets
Manage and build pipeline of new business within assigned categories/segments
Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities (via phone/zoom calls, emails, and trade shows)
Self-source leads via online research, social media and networking at related events
Follow-up promptly on inbound leads generated by the marketing team
Respond to customer inquiries quickly and prioritise activities with customers at different stages in the sales process
Utilise CRM to track and report account activity accurately and promptly
Oversee customer experience from prospect through event execution
Work collaboratively with other sales team members and other departments
Stay informed on industry trends and engage with the larger retail tech industry
Study the market and identify new trends and key players
Must haves
Proven B2B sales experience
Results-oriented mindset

Enthusiasm for talking to people (not afraid to pick up the phone)
Strong email communication skills

Willingness to travel interstate
