Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Support and Pipeline Progression
Proactively follow up on quotations and proposals to maintain momentum and drive progression
Make regular outbound calls and emails to clients to obtain updates and next steps
Support re-engagement of dormant accounts and lapsed opportunities
Assist with identification of new opportunities via market intelligence platforms
Review client portals and tender registers to identify bid opportunities
Client Engagement
Manage structured follow-up of quotations and proposals to ensure timely advancement.
Make regular outbound calls to clients to obtain proposal updates and progress opportunities.
Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial documentation.
Coordinate internally with BD, engineering and proposals teams to ensure timely responses
CRM Ownership and Commercial Tracking
Take ownership of the company CRM system, ensuring all opportunities and activities are accurately recorded
Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency
Drive improvement and adoption of CRM processes.
Reporting and Commercial Insight
Produce weekly and monthly pipeline reports for leadership
Provide clear visibility of opportunity status and follow-up activity
Support identification of trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
Collate and distribute insights/intelligence from commercial team
Marketing and Business Support
Support development of case studies, presentations, and sales materials
Assist with targeted email campaigns and outreach initiatives
Ensure brand consistency across all CIU materials.
Events and Engagement
Lead the coordination of client events, exhibitions and industry engagement activities
Assist with preparation of marketing materials company handouts/giveaways
Administrative Support
Maintain structured commercial documentation and records
Track and follow up on actions from internal and client meetings
About You
You will be well suited to this role if you:
Are confident speaking with clients and comfortable making regular outbound calls
Have strong organisational skills and can manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Are proactive and take ownership of tasks rather than waiting for direction
Have experience with CRM systems or structured tracking tools
Communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal
Have a commercial mindset and an interest in supporting business growth
