ComLIMS-Quotation Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As an experienced ComLIMS-Quotation QA Automation Engineer, you will initially work within a Scrum team of six to seven collocated Software Engineers and QA. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the testing processes, such as acceptance and deployment testing, as well as building and troubleshooting selected functional and non-functional requirements for target software applications and services, with a high automation ratio of 80%. In addition to automated UI tests, you will perform exploratory testing to uncover usability issues, visual glitches, hidden defects, and functionality gaps, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Open-minded, you will engage in backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, following Scrum and Agile value, you will be committed to ensure incremental testing of the application. Following continuous delivery, you will ensure the quality and automation of ComLIMS-Quotation test suites for both acceptance and deployment testing, guaranteeing that automated tests are systematically executed as part of the CI/CD pipeline at corresponding stages. You will adhere to test strategy and test plans to ensure high-quality product delivery, question them when necessary. You will work to achieve comprehensive test coverage and quality, leveraging strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. In doing so, you will nurture effective teamwork between Product Owner, BA, QA engineers, and Software Engineers, fostering a cohesive and productive working environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field equivalent practical experience. 2 to 4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both automated and manual testing. Comprehensive understanding of various types of testing and their purposes, including acceptance, sanity, exploratory, and more. Solid grasp of software applications at both functional and technical levels Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as DevOps practices, allowing you to seamlessly integrate testing into the development process. Proficiency in automation includes using object-oriented languages such as Java or C#. Understanding web service patterns (REST) and ESB patterns (queues), along with the knowledge of how to test them using automation. Experience with UI automation testing, ideally using tools like Selenium or JavaScript frameworks. Proficiency in Chinese and English
