Cloud-Native QA Engineer

• Develop comprehensive End-to-End test plans and test cases for functional, system, and regression testing
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve robustness and reliability.
• Review design specs and develop testing and automation strategies for product features
• Set up cloud test environment in Kubernetes and execute test plans using both manual and/or automation
• Generate and document test reports for every test cycle
• Document and report bugs and steps to reproduce in a concise and effective way

Provide feedback for product documentation to ensure correctness and clarity

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience testing distributed applications in Cloud environment
• Experience in testing and verification of enterprise-quality products.
• knowledge of container orchestration/deployment/monitoring tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Fluentd, Prometheus/Grafana, etc.
• Experience in installing, configuring Kafka in an enterprise environment
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, source control and build tools like GIT, Jenkins.
• Experience in one or more scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Good troubleshooting skills, team player with a “can do” attitude, and the flexibility to jump in wherever needed.
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Knowledge of source control and bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent)
