Cloud Engineer (Azure)- Hybrid Flexibility

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 to design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud solutions. This role will focus on building and maintaining Azure infrastructure, managing Microsoft 365 environments, and helping drive cloud strategy, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, security-minded, and experienced in modern cloud architecture and automation.

This position features one day of remote work each week.

Responsibilities::
• Azure Cloud Engineering
• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure and services.
• Build and manage virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, and Azure PaaS services.
• Implement high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor performance, availability, and cost optimization of Azure resources.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Support Azure governance, policy management, and cost management initiatives.
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
• Design and implement identity and access management strategies.
• Configure and manage Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust security controls.
• Manage tenant configurations, licensing, compliance, and security features.
• Support collaboration and productivity solutions across the organization.

• Implement and manage Azure AD, Entra ID, and hybrid identity solutions.
• Support SSO, federation, and identity lifecycle management.
• Implement Microsoft Defender, security baselines, and endpoint protection.
• Assist with compliance initiatives (M365 Compliance Center, DLP, retention policies).
• Cloud Migrations & Modernization
• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises to Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Lead cloud adoption projects and modernization efforts.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for cloud architecture.
• Support hybrid cloud and hybrid identity environments.
• Automation & DevOps
• Automate deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting tools.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
