Cloud & Data Security Lead

About the Role:
• We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Data Security Lead to drive security strategy and operations across multi-cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. The role focuses on protecting cloud platforms, network infrastructure, endpoints, and sensitive data while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational resilience

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and continuous improvement of network and endpoint security controls
• Manage firewalls, DNS, VPN, WAF, proxies, DDoS protection, and endpoint security platforms
• Oversee multi-cloud security posture (Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud, OCI)
• Operate and optimise Azure Firewall, AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Network Firewall
• Drive Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and misconfiguration remediation
• Ensure secure remote access and enforce MFA across critical systems
• Manage PKI, certificate lifecycle, and encryption standards
• Lead vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response coordination
• Implement automation using Terraform, PowerShell, and CLI tools
• Maintain logging and telemetry (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Log Analytics)
• Support compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory alignment (e.g., GDPR, CIS, NIST)
• Contribute to BCDR planning and ensure infrastructure resilience
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L2 security analysts

Requirements:
• Strong experience in multi-cloud security architecture
• Hands-on expertise with Azure, AWS security services and cloud-native controls
• Deep understanding of IAM, MFA, RBAC, and secure access governance
• Experience with WAF, DDoS, proxy, and layered security architecture
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and audit processes
• Strong automation and scripting skills
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership capabilities
