Job Description
A high-growth technology consulting firm serving commercial, federal, and state clients is seeking a Chief Growth Officer. This is a rare executive opportunity to take full ownership of a dedicated growth function at a company with a strong track record of year-over-year revenue growth, now at a critical inflection point in its evolution. The role is based in Arlington, Virginia, with a hybrid schedule. If you are a senior growth or BD executive ready to make a high-impact move, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the company's overall growth strategy, including revenue diversification into other sectors.
• Build, lead, mentor, and scale a business development function comprising BD directors and capture managers
• Introduce and refine BD processes, pipeline management, and go-to-market approaches, bringing fresh thinking without forcing disruptive overhaul
• Develop and leverage a strong personal network of relationships in adjacent industries and technologies to open new revenue streams
• Partner closely with existing EVPs, the marketing team, and delivery leadership to create a unified growth engine
• Serve as a senior ambassador for the company at conferences, client meetings, and industry events, with a high-visibility, high-energy presence
• Work collaboratively with the CEO to earn expanded decision-making authority as trust is established, with a clear trajectory toward full ownership of the growth function
Requirements:
• Proven track record of senior-level business development or growth leadership, ideally at or adjacent to a major systems integrator or large consulting firm
• Demonstrated success managing and winning a substantial pipeline and book of business
• Strong existing network of relationships across commercial or private-sector industries and technologies that can be leveraged
• Experience leading and mentoring BD teams, with the presence and communication style to inspire a team and represent the company externally
• Ability to operate with a founder-oriented leadership team and to build trust progressively while making an early, tangible impact
• High energy, relationship-driven, and comfortable with a fast-moving, conference-heavy, street-level BD culture
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or the broader IT service management ecosystem
• Experience at a company transitioning from a concentrated niche into a broader market, with a demonstrated ability to help shape and execute that shift
• Prior C-suite or VP-level title with ownership over revenue targets
Benefits:
• Base Salary: $240,000 - $320,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
• 401(k) retirement plan
• Additional workplace perks and employee-focused benefit
