Job Description
The CCE Experiential Learning Program Assistant will support the implementation of the summer 2026 History in Translation program. This includes participant support, co-facilitation of program activities, logistical support, and program driving.
This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The minimum starting range for the position is $19.92-$22.16 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
• Co-facilitate and support a positive, safe, and inclusive living and learning environment for undergraduate participants
• Facilitate and/or co-facilitate daily activities for undergraduate participants
• Communicate risk management and other concerns to CCE staff
• Support CCE staff in tracking expenses and receipts for all in-program purchases as required
• Transport program participants (driving)
• Support positive community partner engagement through clear, consistent communication and preparation.
Requirements:
• For the summer 2026 program, upper-level proficiency in Spanish, Arabic, French, Mandarin, Russian, or Haitian Creole.
• Experience in diverse linguistic and cultural contexts
• Group facilitation experience and/or interest in learning these skills
• Professional communications
• Flexibility – community-connected programs may require last-minute changes and decisions
• Time management – for self and supporting others
• Licensed driver in the US – and eligible for a Middlebury license.
Remote preparation work (desk work). Off-site programming in the Northeast region of the United States during the program implementation phase. Will include desk work, driving, and travel to program sites (walking, driving, and/or public transportation may be used).
