CCE Experiential Learning Program Assistant (Summer 2026 004085)

The CCE Experiential Learning Program Assistant will support the implementation of the summer 2026 History in Translation program. This includes participant support, co-facilitation of program activities, logistical support, and program driving.

This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The minimum starting range for the position is $19.92-$22.16 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

• ​​Co-facilitate and support a positive, safe, and inclusive living and learning environment for undergraduate participants
• ​Facilitate and/or co-facilitate daily activities for undergraduate participants
• ​Communicate risk management and other concerns to CCE staff
• ​Support CCE staff in tracking expenses and receipts for all in-program purchases as required
• ​Transport program participants (driving)
• ​Support positive community partner engagement through clear, consistent communication and preparation.​

Requirements:
• ​​For the summer 2026 program, upper-level proficiency in Spanish, Arabic, French, Mandarin, Russian, or Haitian Creole.
• ​Experience in diverse linguistic and cultural contexts
• ​Group facilitation experience and/or interest in learning these skills
• ​​Professional communications
• ​Flexibility – community-connected programs may require last-minute changes and decisions
• ​Time management – for self and supporting others
• ​Licensed driver in the US – and eligible for a Middlebury license.​​

Remote preparation work (desk work). Off-site programming in the Northeast region of the United States during the program implementation phase. Will include desk work, driving, and travel to program sites (walking, driving, and/or public transportation may be used).
