Job Description

The Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Sales Specialist, with a focus on oncology applications, is responsible for driving revenue and growth within their assigned territory for Twist Bioscience sequencing products. This role requires delivering accurate revenue forecasts, monitoring business performance, and making data-driven decisions. The specialist will maintain knowledge of competitor products and strategies, provide customer feedback, and identify unmet customer needs to support the development of new products.

What You'll Be Doing

• Attain quarterly and annual revenue targets.

• Deliver accurate and timely forecasts for the territory.

• Develop and manage key relationships with new and existing customers at various organizational levels.

• Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for the region.

• Develop and execute supply agreements.

• Collaborate with product management, R&D, and operations to minimize time to revenue.

• Maintain an up-to-date CRM database.

• Represent the company at relevant tradeshows.

• Maintain and raise awareness of the competitive landscape, provide customer feedback, and introduce new product ideas to internal partners.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Proven track record of delivering financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis.

• 8+ years of experience selling life science reagents and solutions, with essential experience in next-generation sequencing target enrichment products.

• 5+ years of experience selling into the Clinical Oncology market.

• Demonstrated technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing applications.

• A background in technical sales and support or field applications is preferred.

• Proficiency in Salesforce.com is preferred.

Education
