Job Description
Brand Partnerships Manager (CPG / Revenue Partnerships)
About us and why we’re hiring
At Choicelunch, we pride ourselves on being the most innovative school lunch company on the planet. We’re smart, driven, and experienced, and we love having fun tackling really hard problems together. We were food-tech before food-tech was even a thing, and we thrive on finding new ways to solve old challenges through a blend of technology, process optimization, and a little bit of elbow grease.
Making life a little bit easier for busy families is what gets us up in the morning, and for almost 25 years, we’ve remained focused on both excellence and continuous improvement.
We are now building a new revenue channel focused on strategic partnerships with food and beverage brands that align with our standards and want to reach families through our platform.
This job is for you if…
You are a natural dealmaker and love the process of turning a cold outreach into a signed partnership
You are highly proactive—you don’t wait for leads, you create them
You are comfortable hearing “no” and know how to keep momentum anyway
You are organized enough to manage a pipeline of opportunities without dropping details
You understand how brands think about marketing budgets and can position value clearly
You are competitive and driven by hitting (and exceeding) revenue targets
You like building something new, even if it’s not perfectly defined yet
You are confident in your ability to close deals, but humble enough to learn quickly
Your mission, should you choose to accept it
To build and grow a new partnership revenue stream by securing paid brand partnerships that integrate aligned food and beverage products into the Choicelunch platform.
You will be responsible for sourcing, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with brands that want access to our families and school communities—while maintaining the trust and standards that define Choicelunch.
What success looks like
By the end of the first 6 months, you’ll have:
Built a pipeline of 50+ target brands
Conducted 25–40 brand meetings
Closed 3–5 paid partnership deals (at least $40K)
Successfully launched initial brand integrations into the Choicelunch program
By the end of the first year, you’ll have:
Generated $250K–$500K+ in partnership revenue
Established repeatable partnership packages and pricing
Built relationships with 5–10 core brand partners
Created a predictable pipeline for ongoing deal flow
What you’ll be doing
Prospecting and building relationships with food and beverage brands
Pitching partnership opportunities and closing deals
Managing a pipeline of opportunities from outreach to contract
Working with internal teams to launch partnerships successfully
Identifying opportunities to expand and renew partnerships
You’re our ideal candidate if you have:
3–7 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development
A demonstrated ability to close deals and generate revenue
Strong communication and negotiation skills
High level of ownership and accountability
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in food, beverage, or CPG
Experience selling marketing or partnership programs
Familiarity with brand or trade marketing budgets
Compensation
Base salary: $90,000
Commission: performance-based, tied to revenue generated
Guardrails (Important to how we operate)
All partnerships must align with Choicelunch ingredient standards (no artificial colors, flavors, or HFCS)
We maintain trust with schools and families—no intrusive or inappropriate marketing
Partnerships must enhance, not dilute, the Choicelunch experience
