As a Backend Engineer for this venture, you will architect the digital backbone of our next-generation social platform. You'll design and build robust, scalable systems that power everything from seamless media delivery and real-time social interactions to our intelligent content discovery engine. Your day will involve rapidly shipping MVPs for our Creator and Content Operation platforms, ensuring our internal tools are as powerful as our user-facing app. You will drive the technical direction of our platform by collaborating with product managers and AI engineers to translate ambitious ideas into scalable architecture.

【The Impact You'll Make】

Build Creator & Ops Platforms: Design and own the high-velocity services that power our creator ecosystem and internal content operation tools.

•
Design and Build Core Services: Architect and develop fundamental backend services and APIs that support content delivery, user interactions, and real-time engagement.

•
Develop Scalable Systems: Build and optimize large-scale distributed systems for media processing, storage, and high-concurrency content distribution.

•
Architect Data Infrastructure: Design our data infrastructure to support real-time analytics and empower machine learning recommendation systems.

•
Ensure Platform Integrity: Implement robust content ecosystem and safety mechanisms to maintain platform health and user trust.

•
Enable Real-time Engagement: Create scalable real-time services for social features including messaging, notifications, and live interactions.

【Who You Are】

•
3+ years of backend development experience with a strong track record of building and scaling distributed systems in a fast-paced environment.

•
Generalist Mindset: Deep proficiency in at least one major backend language (Go, Java, or Python) and the adaptability to pick up new tools as the product evolves.

•
Fast Builder: You thrive on shipping early versions of a product quickly and are comfortable prioritizing "speed-to-market" over rigid big-company processes.

•
Product-Focused: Experience building B2B or B2C service applications; you prefer solving user-facing problems rather than purely low-level infrastructure.

•
System Design Expert: Strong experience with relational/NoSQL databases, message queues, and caching systems (Redis, Kafka, Postgres, etc.).

•
Collaborative & Scrappy: Proven ability to work in a startup setting where you own features from design to launch, supported by an internal Ops/Infra team.

•
Solid Fundamentals: Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and how to design high-traffic backend services.

Experience with media streaming protocols or processing pipelines.

•
Knowledge of recommendation systems or machine learning infrastructure.

•
Background in real-time communication technologies.

Previous experience building social platforms or content-driven products.
