We are looking for a seasoned AVP – Channel Marketing to lead and scale our channel marketing efforts with a strong focus on email marketing and lifecycle campaigns. This role will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and optimizing high-impact marketing email programs that drive engagement, conversion, and revenue across customer segments.
As a senior leader, you will own end-to-end email campaigning strategies, leverage advanced marketing automation platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and ZETA, and work closely with cross-functional teams including product, data, growth, and sales. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has deep expertise in building scalable, data-driven channel marketing programs.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the channel marketing strategy with a primary focus on email marketing, ensuring alignment with overall business and growth objectives.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of email campaigns—from strategy, planning, and content coordination to building, deploying, and performance optimization.
• Design and execute marketing email programs, including promotional, transactional, lifecycle, drip, and trigger-based campaigns.
• Hands-on leadership in building and deploying campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and ZETA, including journeys, automations, and segmentation.
• Drive best practices for email campaigning, including personalization, dynamic content, A/B testing, deliverability, and compliance.
• Partner with data and analytics teams to leverage customer insights for segmentation, targeting, and campaign optimization.
• Collaborate with creative, product, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and seamless customer experience across channels.
• Monitor campaign performance metrics such as open rates, CTRs, conversions, and ROI; translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Establish scalable processes, governance, and frameworks for channel marketing execution at scale.
• Mentor and manage a team of channel and email marketing professionals, fostering a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Expertise
• Strong expertise in Channel Marketing, with deep specialization in Email Marketing and Email Campaigning.
• Proven experience in building, deploying, and optimizing marketing email campaigns at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and data extensions.
• Working knowledge and experience with ZETA for campaign orchestration and customer engagement.
• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, personalization, and automation.
• Ability to translate business goals into effective channel strategies and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using campaign data to drive decisions.
Experience & Qualifications
• 5–18 years of experience in channel marketing, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing roles.
• Prior experience in a leadership or senior individual contributor role managing complex, high-volume campaigns.
• Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments is a strong plus.
