Job Description

Dynamic Transit, a transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Full Time Painter to join our mechanic team in our Hazelwood shop.

Position Duties:

Custom Paint for Peterbilt and Kenworth tractors

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying undercoats

Mix and match paint colors using a paint code to achieve desired results

Utilize power tools for sanding and buffing

Use hand tools for detailed work such as trim and touch-ups

Perform minor auto body repairs and address rust spots

Handle auto glass removal and installation

Basic Qualifications (MINIMUM):

Proven experience in auto body repair and painting

Familiarity with mechanic work is a plus

Verifiable experience in custom paint work

Experience in pinstripe paint work

Proficiency in using power tools for sanding and buffing

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures

Ability to detail vehicles to a high standard

Skilled in using hand tools for precise work

Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
