Automation Specialist (Hubspot/Make.com/ClickUp) - EST Hours | Remote

PLEASE NOTE:

• Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9:00am – 6:00pm EST (15:00pm - 00:00am OR 16:00pm - 01:00am South African Time, depending on daylight savings in the USA)
• Public Holidays: You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays. Compensation for South African public holidays will be provided in accordance with the BCEA.
• Internet Requirements: Fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download), and support for a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Candidates without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
• Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding or outages. Candidates without backup cannot be considered.
• Work Environment: Fully remote

About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will build, test, and improve automations across HubSpot, Make.com, and ClickUp on behalf of our U.S.-based clients. You will work through assigned tasks, follow instructions carefully, and take full ownership of each automation from start to finish — ensuring everything is thoroughly tested and correctly implemented before sign-off.

This role suits someone who is methodical, takes pride in getting things right, and is comfortable asking questions when something is unclear rather than making assumptions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building and configuring workflows and automations in HubSpot, Make.com, and ClickUp
• Testing automations thoroughly to ensure they function as intended
• Identifying and resolving issues within workflows before and after implementation
• Following task briefs accurately and flagging anything unclear before proceeding
• Managing multiple tasks and seeing each one through to full completion
• Communicating progress and updates clearly and consistently

Requirements:
• Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot automations & workflows

• Proven experience building automations in Make.com (formerly Integromat)
• Solid working knowledge of ClickUp
• A methodical, detail-oriented approach to your work
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and execute tasks independently
• Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity rather than guessing
• Reliable, self-managed, and accountable in a fully remote environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or in a BPO environment
• Familiarity with other no-code/low-code automation tools
• Experience with CRM systems beyond HubSpot
