This position will be responsible for ensuring proper functionality and utilization of the warehouse’s automated inventory system across multiple distribution center teams and operations. This position will also be responsible for assisting in designing processes and systems to unlock efficient material flows, and for the development of tools and strategies to enable cost efficiencies, high throughput capabilities, and flawless accuracy to all our customers. We are looking for a specialist who can guide teams through aggressive implementations, is a critical thinker, process-oriented, results driven, and data-centric. This position needs to actively interact with department users and third-party system partners, to understand and business process issues and to commit to re-engineering efforts. Additionally, this position will require them to perform troubleshooting and light maintenance on the automated inventory system to ensure minimal downtime and operational delay. The position is primarily at our headquarters in Newton, NJ.

Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:

• Develop expertise with Warehouse Management Systems and other warehouse automation solutions.

• Produce innovative options for addressing the request at hand and recommend the best course of action based on requirements, coverage, and effort required.

• Perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include, but are not limited to configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation or combination of these options.

• Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with users and management to determine business needs and translate them to system enhancements.

• Serve as point person for troubleshooting issues and enhancements related to the specific warehouse automation and functional area.

• Recommend software enhancements to developers and serve as point contact for clarification and follow-up throughout the development process.

• Manage implementation plans for releasing system enhancements and new solutions to the distribution center.

• Drive the technical and procedural resolution of business logic issues.

• Assist in creating training and work instructions for local and super users and share with all DCs and Entities; arrange for (re)training of groups of users; reinforce procedure development in line with business procedures

• Perform data analysis to track project progress and daily operations

• Perform light maintenance and service on the automated inventory system as needed

• Perform inventory control tasks (transfers, cycle counts, journals, etc) digitally and physically to ensure processes are being followed correctly and inventory is properly accounted for

• Troubleshoot and investigate inventory issues to determine root cause and propose solutions.

• Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Qualifications Experience:

• 4+ years of proven experience in D365/AX Dynamics on BPO(Business Process Owner) and/or working with cross-functional team.

Education:

• Associate’s degree in Supply chain,

Business or related field preferred or equivalent to 5+ years of experience working in the Logistic industry with a H.S. Diploma or equivalent

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience implementing and supporting warehouse updates and new modules.

• Experience in an operation/distribution environment

• Engineering or System experience

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects

• Ability to prioritize, plan and delegate tasks

• Detailed knowledge of MS Office products

• Demonstrated experience in a customer centric environment

• Strong problem solving/analysis skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team based and high speed environment

• Ability to work extended hours, weekends and/or travel as needed.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.86 - $29.80 D.O.E.
