YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
At Blackwave GmbH, we develop next-generation production systems for advanced aerospace applications. Our mission is clear: build intelligent, high-performance manufacturing environments that combine precision, safety, and scalable automation.
We don’t assemble machines. We engineer ecosystems. Our systems are designed to meet the highest aerospace standards — performance-driven, CE-compliant, and built for long-term evolution. If you want to work where automation meets aerospace innovation, this is your mission. You will play a key role in shaping the automation backbone of our aerospace production environment.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for advanced aerospace manufacturing systems
• Program and configure PLC systems (Siemens and/or Beckhoff) as well as robotic systems and related hardware
• Develop electrical schematics, control concepts, and system architectures
• Ensure full compliance with CE directives, machine safety standards, and industrial regulations
• Take ownership of installation, commissioning, and optimization phases
• Deliver hands-on technical training to internal teams
• Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Maintain and continuously improve technical documentation and control strategies
YOUR PROFILE:
• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent; alternatively, certified technician (state-certified)
• Several years (at least 3) of hands-on experience in automation engineering for production systems
• Proven and strong experience in PLC programming with ideally Siemens and/or Beckhoff
• Familiarity with robotics programming and strong understanding of electronics (sensors, actuators)
• Experience with CE certification processes and machine safety standards
• Structured and independent working style combined with a creative approach to technical challenges
• Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a high sense of responsibility
WHAT WE OFFER:
• High level of autonomy & real impact: Be part of shaping our high-tech production landscape
• Flexible working hours & remote work options based on mutual agreement
• Startup mindset meets aerospace innovation: Flat hierarchies, fast decisions, and space for your ideas
• Choose your own benefit: Germany ticket, Egym Wellpass, or a tax-free Give Card
• Healthy & social lunch culture: Enjoy fresh meals during shared lunch breaks
• Stunning views: Wind down on our rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the Alps
• Growth opportunities: Work on exciting projects and learn from inspiring people
• We live our team culture: From tech talks to team events and after-work gatherings – we celebrate success together
