About the role

COGNNA is seeking a proactive Automation Engineer to lead our journey toward organizational efficiency. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role designed for someone who thrives on building "the office of the future."

You will be the dedicated technical partner for every department to build enterprise AI Agents reducing time for running business operations, from Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, and more. Your mission is to identify manual workflows and transform them into streamlined, AI-enhanced processes. You won't just follow tickets; you will consult with business units to show them what is possible with modern automation and AI.

🔍What You’ll Do

• AI Enablement: Research, pilot, and implement AI tools (LLMs, generative AI agents, and specialized AI platforms) to boost departmental productivity.
• Workflow Orchestration: Integrate our tech stack (SaaS tools, internal databases, and APIs) using a mix of custom code (Python) and advanced orchestration platforms (e.g., Make.com, n8n, Zapier).
• Change Management: Act as a "Internal Consultant" to train teams on new automated tools and ensure high adoption rates for AI initiatives.
• Performance Tracking: Measure and report on time-savings and ROI generated by your automated solutions.
• Cross-Departmental Automation: Build and own end-to-end workflows such as:

• HR: Automated onboarding/offboarding, smart case creation, and candidate screening flows.
• Marketing: AI-assisted content distribution, automated lead enrichment, and performance reporting.
• Operations: Intelligent document processing and automated data synchronization across platforms.

Requirements:
• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Automation, Business Systems, or "No-Code/Low-Code" Engineering.
• The AI Edge: Hands-on experience working with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) and understanding how to apply prompt engineering to business workflows, and build automation systems.
• Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python and a strong command of API integrations (REST/JSON).
• Systems Thinker: Ability to map out a complex manual process and re-architect it for efficiency.
• Interpersonal Skills: You must be comfortable interviewing department heads to understand their pain points and "selling" them on a more efficient way of working.
