Position: Automation, AI & Software Developer

Salary: PHP 100,000 to PHP 150,000 (depending on skills & experience)

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays; 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PH Time; full-time (remote)

Holidays: Australian Holidays and/or PH Holidays

OVERVIEW:

About the Role

This role is focused on making things work better—for both internal teams and customers. The successful candidate will design and build automation, integrations, and client-facing systems that are used every day. They will work closely with engineers, the operations team, and leadership to understand requirements and deliver solutions that are well thought-out, well documented, and secure by design.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys ownership, variety, and seeing their work go live—and stay running.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing and building automation workflows for internal processes and client solutions
• Creating API-driven integrations between platforms, tools, and third-party services
• Building automation using n8n, low-code tools, and custom code where it makes sense
• Developing client-facing systems such as portals, dashboards, and workflow-based applications
• Using AI-assisted tools and services to improve efficiency and decision-making
• Working day-to-day with Linux systems — building, running, and troubleshooting platforms
• Python / Javascript
• Containerising and deploying services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Building dashboards and visibility using Power BI and Grafana
• Working alongside our wider team to understand their needs and design practical solutions
• Making sure everything is secure by design, with guidance from our CISO
• Writing clear, useful documentation so systems are easy to understand and maintain

The Tools You’ll Be Using

You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you should be comfortable with most of these:

• Automation & Low-Code: n8n, Lovable.dev, Microsoft Power Apps
• APIs & Integrations: REST APIs, webhooks, authentication methods
• Data & Dashboards: Power BI, Grafana
• Platforms & Infrastructure: Linux (strong CLI skills are a must); Docker; Kubernetes
• Good Engineering Habits: Git and version control; Secure design principles; Clean, well-documented solutions

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid 2-3 experience in automation, software development, or platform engineering
• Very comfortable working on Linux-based systems
• Real-world experience deploying and running workloads with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations
• Someone who can talk to people, understand problems, and turn them into good technical solutions
• A practical mindset — you care about solutions being reliable, secure, and maintainable

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Experience working in an MSP, ISP, or infrastructure-heavy environment
• Exposure to AI-driven workflows or automation
• Experience building client-facing platforms or portals
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, or observability tooling
