We are seeking a proactive technologist who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, defect resolution, and intelligent automation. This role is designed for someone who excels at identifying why systems fail and building automated solutions to prevent recurrence. 
 
The Associate Engineer will focus on L3 production support, defect triage, and automation, leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and improve reliability. With 3–5 years of experience, the candidate should bring foundational fullstack knowledge, handson debugging skills, and a strong interest in automation and DevOps practices. 
 
Core Responsibilities 
• Investigate and resolve complex L3 application and UI defects across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure. 
• Perform deep root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to implement permanent fixes. 
• Create automated test cases using Playwright and enhance defect prevention through improved logging, monitoring, and testing. 
• Support observability and reliability initiatives, including stability improvements and performance monitoring. 
• Design and implement IT process automations for deployment pipelines, environment setup, monitoring alerts, and operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. 
• Assist DevOps teams with CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and containerization (Docker), with exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
 
Required Skills 
• 1–3 years in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Application Support. 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field. 
• Experience in Agile or DevOps environments. 
• Strong debugging and log analysis across UI, APIs, backend services, and databases. 
• Experience with Chrome DevTools, Postman, Selenium, and Playwright. 
• Working knowledge of AI assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot). 
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), version control (Git), and monitoring tools (ELK, Datadog, Prometheus). 
• Basic understanding of containerization and cloud environments. 
• Design and implement automation solutions to streamline IT and engineering workflows 
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, etc.) 
• Basic to intermediate full stack development experience 
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills 
• Nice to have experience with automation scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
