Associate Principal Engineer, Camunda BPM

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 9+ years
• Strong experience in developing and deploying business process automation solutions.
• Strong hands‑on experience with the Camunda BPM platform, with at least 4+ years architecting Camunda-based solutions.
• Mandatory certification: Camunda Certified Professional – Developer or equivalent Camunda BPM certification.
• Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end delivery of Camunda-based automation projects, including scoping, planning, estimation, and execution.
• Deep expertise in designing and implementing complex Camunda workflows, services, forms, and decision tables using BPMN, DMN, and CMMN.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience integrating Camunda with databases, web services, and external enterprise systems.
• Hands‑on experience applying DevOps practices—CI/CD, automation, testing, monitoring, logging—for Camunda applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with pre‑sales activities such as RFP/RFI responses, technical PoVs, and rapid PoC development.
• Willingness to travel for short-duration client engagements (workshops, architecture discussions, PoC demos).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, customer-centric mindset, and capability to mentor developers and engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze business processes and design robust, scalable automation solutions using the Camunda 8 BPM platform, focusing on performance, usability, and business value.
• Define, estimate, and establish the technical architecture of Camunda-based applications, including integrations with enterprise systems.
• Lead and guide Camunda upgrades, patching strategies, and platform optimization with minimal service disruption.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to refine requirements, architect solutions, and deliver Camunda projects with quality and timeliness.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams on Camunda best practices, coding standards, and architecture patterns.
• Contribute to pre-sales efforts—RFP/RFI responses, technical solutioning, effort estimation, and PoC development/demonstration.
• Develop proprietary accelerators, frameworks, utilities, and reusable assets to improve delivery speed and consistency across Camunda engagements.
• Demonstrate thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest enhancements in Camunda, BPM technologies, and related ecosystems; drive knowledge adoption across teams.
• Ensure seamless integration, scalability, and high-performance execution of Camunda solutions within client environments.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
