Associate Director-Revenue Assurance

Position at JioStar Mumbai office to manage Revenue Assurance & Cash Applications Accounting, Monthly Closing, Controllership, Audits & MIS reporting, automation, process improvement and control checks for Revenue area.

Key Responsibilities ::
• Ensure accurate & timely accounting.
• Prepare & review monthly balance sheet and P&L schedules relating to revenue & receivables.
• Responsible for monthly closures including preparing schedules, COC & revenue disclosure requirements.
• Review of contracts, identifying the complexities & accounting in compliance with Ind AS 115.
• Handling Statutory and Internal audits.
• Interaction & co-ordination with business teams, tech teams for process improvements & assignments relating to revenue, report requirements, automation, and new system implementation.
• Ensure SLAs are met for accounting & reporting including compliance of company’s policies.
• Ensuring Collection and TDS accounting and preparation of 26AS reconciliation for revenue and TDS.
• Ensuring timely preparation of Bank reconciliation statements.
• Responsible for co-ordination with tax team for tax filings i.e. GST, VAT, WHT and respond to various tax audit queries etc.
• Ensure adequate controls are in place and are effective.
• Coordination with stakeholders from Treasury, Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Collections, Business, FP&A, FRM, etc.
• Manage a team of around 15 people, reviewing their work and ensuring smooth coordination within the team.

Preferred Education and Experience :
• CA with minimum 6-8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in Revenue Assurance is must.
• Preferably from Media / Advertisement industry.
• Excellent in Microsoft tools, ability to work with large data.
• Working knowledge in SAP is a must.
• Good analytical & presentation skills.
• Good team player.
