Application Architect

We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot application architecture;
• Manage complex architecture and integrate heterogeneous systems to it;
• Architecture and design of information systems;
• Review of the architecture of existing systems;
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks (back-end/front-end);
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Production of software architecture documents

Requirements:
• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in Java, Angular and Weblogic or other JEE container management;
• Good knowledge of Middleware systems (e.g. Oracle Service Bus);
• Good knowledge of messaging services and platforms (e.g. Java Message Service, Apache Kafka);
• Good knowledge of eUI;
• Good knowledge in Akoma Ntoso: simple technology-neutral electronic representations in XML format of parliamentary, legislative and judiciary documents;
• Oracle middleware related certificates and an ITIL certification will be considered an advantage;
• Excellent command of the English and French language.
