About the Role

We’re hiring an AI & Systems Operations Manager — a business-minded operator who is deeply obsessed with automation, AI, and system design.

This role is for someone who looks at a business process and immediately asks:

“Why does this exist like this… and how do we automate or simplify it?”

You’ll work across multiple teams and companies in our portfolio to identify inefficiencies, design better workflows, and implement automations using modern tools and AI. This is not a theory role — you’ll ship real systems that save time, reduce errors, and scale operations.

What You’ll Do
Business Systems Optimization

Audit existing business processes across teams (ops, delivery, sales, finance, recruiting, etc.)

Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and manual work.

Translate business needs into structured systems and workflows.

Continuously improve how work moves through the organization.

Automation & AI

Build automations using n8n, Zapier, Make, and native tool automations.

Integrate tools like Airtable, ClickUp, CRMs, Slack, Google Workspace.

Apply AI thoughtfully: LLMs, agents, internal copilots, document processing, summarization, routing, QA, etc.

Stay current on new AI tools and experiment with ways to apply them to real business problems.

Ops Execution

Own implementation end-to-end — from idea build QA rollout.

Maintain clean documentation, SOPs, and system maps.

Ensure reliability, error handling, and long-term maintainability.

Partner with team leads to ensure systems actually work in practice.

What Success Looks Like (90 Days)

You’ve worked with our COO and Zoomed in on key business problems, mapped workflows, and identified high-ROI automation opportunities.

Several manual processes are already automated or simplified.

Teams are saving time and experiencing fewer operational errors.

AI is being used in practical, measurable ways — not just experiments.

Leadership trusts you to spot operational inefficiencies before they become problems

What We're Looking For

A business operator first, technologist second.

Comfortable in ops, PM, or systems roles inside real companies.

You understand how teams actually work — not just how tools should work.

You enjoy diving into messy systems and leaving them cleaner than you found them.

High follow-through: you finish what you start and document it clearly.

Requirements

3–6+ years in operations, project management, systems, or process improvement roles

Deep experience with workflow automation (n8n, Zapier, Make)

Strong working knowledge of Airtable, ClickUp, Notion, and modern SaaS tools

Demonstrated use of AI in business workflows (LLMs, agents, automation, etc.)

Ability to translate business requirements into technical execution

Strong documentation and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working across multiple teams or companies.

Background in agencies, startups, or high-growth environments.

Light scripting or technical comfort beyond no-code tools.

Experience designing internal tools or ops platforms.
