About The Role

The AI Solutions Strategy Consultant is a hybrid product and consulting role, with a strong emphasis on discovery, business analysis and solution shaping, supported by hands-on use of AI tools.

Sitting within the Co-Intelligence Centre, this role works between senior stakeholders and engineering teams to translate ambiguous business problems into clear, feasible and delivery-ready AI initiatives. You will be accountable for ensuring work is well defined before delivery commitments are made, while also actively using existing AI tools and workflows to validate feasibility and drive momentum.

We are looking for a doer with strong discovery instincts, commercial awareness and an AI-first way of working, who is comfortable operating in regulated, enterprise environments and engaging directly with stakeholders, including clients when appropriate.

What You'll Do:
•

Discovery and intake
• Lead structured discovery sessions with internal and client stakeholders to understand objectives, constraints and success criteria
• Translate business, research or operational needs into clear AI use cases and problem statements
• Shape and refine research questions, data schemas and prompt context to ensure clarity and feasibility
• Identify risks, assumptions and dependencies early, before scope or timelines are committed
Solution shaping and feasibility
• Work closely with senior technical leads to assess solution approaches using existing AI tools and workflows
• Conduct early feasibility discovery through hands-on experimentation with frontier AI tools and internal platforms
• Help determine whether solutions can be delivered through configuration and adaptation versus bespoke build
• Summarise findings into clear recommendations that support confident delivery decisions
Delivery readiness and backlog creation
• Convert discovery outputs into clear, actionable delivery briefs and backlog items
• Ensure engineers receive complete, prioritised and well-scoped requirements
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of delivery-ready work across multiple initiatives
Hands-on AI execution
• Actively use and adapt existing AI tools and workflows
• Write, test and refine prompts for applied use cases
• Run analyses using established systems such as interview processing, insight generation and gap analysis
• Apply a practical understanding of model behaviour, limitations and performance considerations
Stakeholder communication and engagement
• Act as a bridge between stakeholders, product leadership and engineering teams
• Clearly communicate scope, feasibility, trade-offs and delivery implications
• Present outputs, findings and recommendations in a structured and accessible way
• Participate in client engagements alongside account, sales or delivery leads where relevant

About You:
• Experience in a consulting, product, delivery or hybrid technical role
• Strong discovery and business analysis capability, with the ability to turn ambiguity into structured work
• Hands-on experience using applied AI tools, including prompt-based systems
• Experience working closely with software engineering teams in end-to-end development environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams and clients
• Comfort operating in regulated or policy-driven environments
Desirable
• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
• Experience working in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industries
• Exposure to AI-enabled research, analytics or insight generation
• Familiarity with workflow automation or low-code tools
• Product experience in B2B or SaaS environments
• Strong appreciation of UX and user-centred design
• Previous experience scaling products or capabilities within an enterprise organisation
• Engineering background or technical education
