AI Research Scientist

We’re looking for an AI Research Scientist to join our AI Research Team in Milan. You will push the boundaries of artificial intelligence, driving fundamental advancements in generative modeling, reinforcement learning, and multimodal reasoning. Your work will directly shape the future of AI, leading groundbreaking research and translating insights into real-world impact.

Requirements:
What You Have

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as an AI research engineer or more than 2 years of experience and a PhD
• Proven record of contributing to AI publications, highlighting a keen understanding of cutting-edge research.
• Expertise in generative modeling, including autoregressive transformers, diffusion models, or VAEs.
• Expertise in reinforcement learning, particularly RLHF, multi-agent systems, or reward modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Deep understanding of experimental design, statistical significance testing, and large-scale A/B experimentation.

What Would Be Nice to Have

• Contributions to ethical AI, including bias mitigation techniques, fairness metrics, or AI alignment research.
• Experience with distributed training infrastructure (e.g., DeepSpeed, Megatron-LM, Lightning).
