Job Description

As an AI Automation Engineer at EdgeUno, you will help design and build internal AI systems that function as digital teammates across different areas of the company.

This role focuses on building AI agents, internal tools, and automation workflows that integrate with EdgeUno’s systems and data to streamline operations and reduce repetitive manual work.

You will work closely with leadership and internal teams to identify opportunities where AI can automate tasks, improve productivity, and accelerate decision-making across operations, sales, marketing, finance, HR, and engineering. This role is ideal for final-year university students or recent graduates who are passionate about AI, automation, and building practical software tools that solve real business problems.

Core Responsibilities

AI Agent Development

• Build AI-powered tools and internal assistants that help teams automate daily tasks
• Develop AI agents capable of generating reports, summarizing communications, and supporting internal workflows
• Build knowledge assistants trained on company documentation and internal knowledge bases
• Prototype and experiment with new AI capabilities to support different business teams

AI Workflow Automation

• Design automation workflows combining LLMs, structured data, APIs, and internal systems
• Develop automation tools that connect multiple platforms used by the company
• Create AI-driven internal dashboards, reports, and operational summaries
• Automate repetitive tasks across departments such as sales, marketing, operations, and support

System Integration

Integrate AI systems with internal company tools such as:

• CRM platforms
• Slack or Microsoft Teams
• Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• ticketing and support systems
• internal databases and APIs

• Ensure reliable communication between AI tools and internal platforms

Continuous Improvement

• Continuously improve AI tools based on feedback from internal teams
• Experiment with new AI models, automation tools, and frameworks
• Maintain documentation for AI workflows and automation systems
• Help identify new opportunities where AI can increase efficiency across the company

Requirements

• English (B2 level or higher)
• Final-year university student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related fields
• Experience programming in Python or Typescript
• Familiarity with AI APIs such as OpenAI or similar providers
• Basic experience working with APIs and system integrations
• Ability to prototype and experiment quickly with new technologies
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn rapidly in a fast-moving environment

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)

Applicants must include a portfolio demonstrating AI or automation projects.

Your portfolio may include:

• AI agents or AI-powered applications

Nice to Have

• Experience building small AI applications or automation tools
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar tools
• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Zapier, n8n, or Make
• Basic understanding of vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval systems
• Experience using Git and working with collaborative development workflows
• Personal projects involving AI, automation, or software development
